Farah Trading & Contracting Company:
Serving the electrical distribution needs of the Middle East
since 1972. Founded in 1962 by the Farraj Family, the company is
headquartered in Amman Jordan. It remains a family owned and
operated business to this day.
Since 1974, the Farah Trading & Contracting Company has been
the exclusive licensee of Westinghouse Electric and now its
successor company Cutler-Hammer for electrical distribution
products in the Middle East, continually investing in
warehousing, manufacturing, modification and test facilities.
Distribution Strategy:
The distribution strategy for Cutler-Hammer products is based
on four significant points:
1. To stock in the Middle East a complete range of products
of sufficient quantity to serve normal customer demand.
2. To be able to move products throughout the Middle East
from strategically placed warehouses.
3. To provide regionally based Modification Centers to
assemble and test breakers with trip units, attachments and
terminals to customer specifications.
4. To provide technical service to the customers in our
marketing area, as to product application or problem solving
needs.
